Plateau Spirit’s ambition is to create sustainable quality spirits with an edge that stands out from the crowd. A wild idea came up one winter night in Tevsjö, Sweden, it is a very deserted area (Twin Peaks kindly) with bears and wolves in the forests outside.

Four men, while consuming (too much) vodka, tried to get the heat after a swim in the icy lake. Here we heard about Bjørn, who catches fish with his bare hands under Northern Lights, squeezes out the caviar and puts the fish back.

“Why not make a very special vodka with Arctic caviar?” someone asked. So we did.

It is called ‘Röye’ and is the first in our ‘Intemerata signature series’ which means untouchable in Latin, where we create some magic in limited volume of 100 numbered bottles.
